@ jpes

No sense in arguing with him, he downplays ANYTHING Sony related, just check his post history.

Mostly - compared to the unrealistic statements from Sony fans, yes I do.

Anyway, if you and many other people in this thread are delusional and actually believe the trailer is real gameplay of course I'm gonna argue against it. So in that perspective it makes perfect sense for me to say that what we see in the trailer isn't very impressive.

This is like the Killzone 2005 trailer blowout all over again.

1) if "we" (sony fans) according to you are: unrealistic, delusional, why don't you just let us be??? GTFO and mind your business

2) if you don't even own the console for you to play it on why all the S#$% talking? you've got too much time on your hands buddy stop worrying about "us", killzone in 2005 and whatnot.... do something more productive with your time....

*LAST TIME I DEFEND GOW3, THERE IS NO POINT IN DEFENDING SOMETHING SO GREAT!!! IT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF, IMA LET THE HATERS HATE!!! (I SUGGEST EVERYONE ELSE DO SO ALSO)*

Ok, I admit I watched the trailer with my fanboy glasses.

But chill a bit guys, everyone is allowed to analyze and discuss this game and not everyone has to agree it looks amazing, at least not yet.

Just in case there's any doubt as to if this is gameplay or if it can be done, read the following paragraphs, with quotes from the DIRECTOR of GOWIII Stig Asmussen!!!

From that point, Asmussen stepped back and prepared to show off the first trailer of the game. The trailer, he stated, was a piece of work that had been completed last Fall, but the team had been waiting to fully unveil the entire thing. Everything within the trailer itself was "100 percent real," according to Asmussen. While the action within the trailer was scripted to tell the story that he wanted to tell for the trailer, "everything that you see in here is using actual in-game engine, resolution, effects. Let me assure you, we can draw Kratos in these levels and we can do all this stuff that's happening in here right now."

And just to further drive home the point of how technically amazing this game is read the following!!!

For God of War III, Asmussen mentioned that these are much more than a simple backdrop to the action. Instead, they are "living titans, characters that are functioning, breathing parts of the world." These titans are actually moving levels that Kratos will fight across, climb onto and navigate as he tries to destroy Olympus. Trying to bring this sense of scale into perspective, Asmussen mentioned two facts that would drive the size of the Titans home. The first one was that many of the Titans would be larger in size than that of the Sears Tower in Chicago, which gives a real world perspective on these character/levels. The other was that the Titans were so large that the large Medusa Lair from God of War II would easily fit in the palm of Gaia's Hand.

FOREVER IN DARKNESS!!!

Why is SkyNet wearing a PS3 Logo???

nevermind

Those Screenshots do NOT do the game justice. They don't look near as good as the video does(from my recollection) but given the dev time still left with the game, only expect them to get better :D

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

Lol.

You do realize that there is snippets of GAMEPLAY in that trailer right?  I'm far more impressed with the GAMEPLAY than anything else.

The game looks amazing.  Take off the fan boy glasses, step back and come back with a real opinion.
