All consoles will see a hit but for some, like Wii, it won't be visible as all that will happen is the growth won't be as large as it could be.
PSP and PS2 will be the biggest hit followed by the PS3..

PSP & PS2 games take big hits. Maybe PC games lose a port or two as well.
There might be a few less 360/PS3 games. Despite what many people here seem to think, making PS3/360 games into 360 exclusives will not make EA more money.

No but it is convenient in a fantasy where Sony should die and leave the market because they're evil and vile!
All platforms will lose some potential games but the hardest hit will be to Sony.
PS2 is finally dying, PSP is dying software wise and so those would be the first cuts, unless it's a Wii game that's getting ported and even then it may not be worthwhile (Indiana Jones is not on PS2 for example and Boom Blox makes no sense to port at all)
PS3 has the lowest user base so while I expect big developers to continue to port 360 games, smaller ones may opt not to, especially with additional content (IE: Valve, Bethesda)
If Sega, THQ, EA prove successful with core titles on Wii expect a lot of resources everywhere to be shifted to the more 'guaranteed' profit generator. It's obvious we're already starting to see that shift.
New IPs, original ideas and tired series may all get axed irregardless of platform.
Developers likely shift their focus more on Wii. PSP lose even more support. 360 and PS3 aren't getting any more 3rd party exclusives, HD projects go to PS360 multiplatform games

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.
I don't think developers are going to make a lot of 360 exclusives anytime soon, a 360 to PS3 port should still be relatively cheap and increase the chance 360 games are profitable. PSP was already in the process of being forgotten and this may be accelerated by the increase in Wii support. DS is still a very healthy platform so I don't see it being hurt more than other platforms.
In conclusion, PS3 and 360 will get hit the most, about equally between them.
I agree with Gamerace that all platforms will suffer in some way, but it won't be as visible for the Wii since they're increasing support at the same time.

to make an accurate assesment here we need to know how much a game costs to port to the ps3 from the 360, for all we know it could be more then development of a new IP last generation, and if so, the increase in sales base would not increase the profit

No way... I think it was Ubisoft that once said porting costs are about 10% of development cost. It's just reprogramming and conversion of data, requiring little to none artistic work since the platforms are so similar in terms of power.

I think the PS2 will finally fade away and the PS3 will take a double hit because of it.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

I'm curious how many cancellations they'll announce and how many they'll just let quietly fade.
