Well it would allready be great if all the shops here sold games for 60 euros. I once saw uncharted (a 6 hour long game without mulitplayer) for 80 euros!!

Honestly increased volume almost never makes up for the lost revenue.

Price cutting to gain market share is often considered one of the great follies of buisness decisions.

It occasionally works but it's something that's way overdone.

It's a ten dollar difference, but saying $49.99 vs $60 makes the gap seem a lot bigger than $49.99 vs $59.99 .

I'm all for lower prices, though.

True, though the curves do rarely make them up despite people often doing so.
