Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Iwata: Big software showing at E3, will help Wii to topple PS2 sales!

I didn't list all the quality titles, just some of the ones that quickly came to my head.

Just pick out all the new IPs I didn't list from here: http://news.vgchartz.com/news.php?id=2811

 Allright, valid point.

LKS

Fragile

Cursed Mountain

You missed those 3. Still, less impressive than I thought it would look (even though I know Nintendo waits with announcing).

i hope for his sake he is right... and it better not be just one big game such as zelda or something...don't get me wrong a zelda game would be awesome but they need more than one big game there...i hate when they get my hopes up and then smash them like last year...Iwata better deliver if he's promising.....time to end it; turning into a rant

I see the problem already. I know a lot about all those games. You don't. Time to catch up :P

That's not even a full list.

I know it's not a full list. But if that's the best of the list, then the rest of the list isn't really that interesting.

If you don't like Muramasa: The Demon Blade...

I guess you just really need Little King's Story, now don'tcha!?

This better mean: No Wii Music, Puppies, Wii Fit or balance board.

Maybe they hype up games that involve the new improved accuracy controller add-on and some good sword fighting stuff, and other things. Maybe Punchout is multiplayer, and has great replayability, and online play.

They do need an upgrade.  The high point of last press conference was awaiting to see how Wii Music would get fair, as far as reviews and sales went.  Bad reviews, over 1 million in sales, and I need a nap out of boredom.  Oh, the add on for better controls is cool, but I don't care about the rest.

pikmin and metroid didnt do much for gamecube, they need new IP's

so, 4 of the better selling games on gamecube, and thats not much?

come try out the computer game i've been working on for my high school senior project, titled sling ball. http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=47568

Let's see it happening first. As for right now, I don't think Wii has been so good for third parties as PS2 was, nor it has or will likely have near 20% of the software gems that graced the best selling console in history.

Appropriately enough, third parties haven't been so good for the Wii as they were for PS2s. Look at the AAA third party lineup Sony got in 2001 and 2002. When Nintendo starts seeing that sort of support, I'll worry about how well the third parties are doing.
