@ machina, it really is that bad... I don't think there is any way around it, unless you have some of those 48 gold trials from Fable 2 or GeoW 2 (and some others I think)

On his actual account, no. Not unless it was also upgraded to gold. Some games will let you log in a guest on someone else's gold account, but the guest account are simply generic guest accounts that do not track achievements, friend lists, etc, etc.
