I don't think the game could live up to the hype now. It will be an awsesome game but people are making it out to be the second coming. It is not. It is a pretty, kill room shooter and nothing else.

Keep grounded people. Don't set yourselves up for dissapointment by thinking it will change the gaming landscape. The game by most accounts will be great and that is all you could ask for.

Well he said that people shouldn't claim that KZ2 is superior before playing the game, and now every Sony fan is bitching and yelling at this guy saying they can make that claim because they HAVE played it.

I see nothing wrong... I agree with the OP anyways, you shouldn't put too much hype or hate into a game you haven't played.

seriously, back in like october, there were predicion threads for game of the year, and a bunch of people were predicting like fall out and left 4 dead, and even codwaw. its like.. these games haven't even came out yet. and on the other end of the spectrum, it even kind of happened when twilight princess came out. some people were let down because of hype. saying its the next OoT

Seriously though, as someone who has played more than 20 hours of Killzone 2, this is looking to compete for the top three games released this year in my opinion. White Knight and DJ Max Fever are going to get it some compeition, but it's a phenominal game in all aspects.
