Forums - Microsoft - Take a chill pill before reading, but according to GameInformer the RRoD...

...was the biggest disappointment of 2008.

My 360 has had zero problems so I can speak for myself and say I have had no issues what so ever, so I am letting you know I am not posting this to be biased, it is only because I find it odd how one group says "RRoD is in the past" while others still believe it is an issue and as I already said, according to GameInformer the RRoD is indeed NOT a thing of the past.

The article reads as followed.

1.XBox 360 - Still Seeing Red

You might not know it, but each XBox 360 comes with a free game. It's called "Living on Borrowed Time". It starts the moment you buy the console and ends when you see the three red rings of death. Despite Microsoft's promises to fix the problem, even the vaunted XBox 360 Elites are still crapping out at an unacceptable rate. This is a bad multiplayer game we've all had to play too many times.

I think we had someone recently on this thread talk about his/her Elite getting the RRoD and wonder if this article is indeed true. From what I read it seems as though this problem is mainly with the Elite. Anyone have issues with their Elite recently?

So take a chill pill, relax, do not attack me for I am not the one who wrote it, I am just spreading the GI news around.

Also on the list are...

2. PS3 loses it's momentum

3. Nintendo's Holiday Hose-Job

4. Stupid NXE Avatars

5. Activision's cutting room floor

6. PSP software hitting rock bottom

7. Too Bad for Too Human

8. Fable II Co-op

9. MMO Momentum stalls

10. Final Fantasy XIII, Where Art Thou?

If this was already posted I apologize.

2. PS3 losing its momentum(what momentum?)

For anyone wondering, I don't think this is GI trying to be biased against 360, so please do not try to bring that in here. According to the Top 50 games of 08', quite a bit of them are 360 exclusives and multiplatform titles. They were also named #3 best publisher of the Year.

Media Molecule was named Best Developer of 2008, Kojima games being #10 of 10.
