I REALLY enjoyed the demo ^^ It just gets better and better the more you play it :P I have some qualms though! (if you could even call these qualms)

1.) At the start of the demo, the screen looks like it's fluxing in and out @_@ it's a trippy effect and kind of hurt my eyes LOL

2.) This game does in fact look AMAZING, however, my eyes had to adjust to it all o.O;;; The motion, color's, glare effect, it was all a bit overwhelming at first LOL I don't know if I'm alone on this one :x

3.) The A.I. is obnoxious! I only had the option to play on normal mode and I already don't like these guys >
4.) The weapons feel sooooooooooo good. That sound is just incredible LOL And the recoil hits like a motherfucker with some of them xD

5.) The smoke effects don't clear fast enough x.x too damn realistic...

All in all, I will say thank god the textures get less sharp when your near them, or my eyes would be in a constant state of strain LOL

And anyone else thing the cover system is just spot on? It's incredible for a first person shooter!!! Totally fucking awesome!

Chrono,
Great post. I agree that this game is absolutely AMAZING! The guns, the AI, the cover. Everything is top notch.

The demo blew my mind. It was awesome. I think this game could cure cancer. lol

I did notice both some graphical glitches and one glitch. I noticed that in the hangar room when I was up on the rails looking out some boxes wouldn't apear but when I zoomed in with the scope they would faze into view. Also, at the same part I noticed some weird lines going through objects. The one glitch I noticed was someone was downstairs and phased through a wall and appeared upstairs. It was kind of funny watching it though. Other then that there were some clipping issues. I hope all of that was ironed out in the final build. Either way, the demo was astonishing but too short to get my fix on this amazing game.

PS3 Trophies

I already loved the game when I played hours upon hours in the beta, and I'll just talk about the negatives.

1. I hate, and I mean I hate the new menu. The flicker whenever you move the cursor really hurts my eyes.

2. The squadmates talking. I couldn't hear a freaking thing. I wouldn't be able to know what to do if I didn't have subtitles. It's not a terrible thing but it kills any attachment I can bring to the character development.

played the demo, a couple notes:

I used the gamma adjuster at the start of the demo but i couldn't see the helghast in the black with the gamma all the way up, and the brightness on my tv all the way up.

Pretty fun demo, albeit on the short side. I don't get why people are going so crazy over the demo. It's good, but i want to play the full version, especially the multiplayer, before I go bananas over it. I'll most likely pick it up during the summer gaming drought.

I like the tv screen look of it, but I also agree that the shaking whenever you more the cursor is annoying as hell. The loading screen images is cool though, it's like I'm looking at the DVD case of Jurassic Park again.

Here is a hypothetical for you PS3 superfans:

Would you rather see KZ2 have huge sales, like 6 million LTD, or would you rather have smaller sales that move a lot of hardware  like 2 mill sold with 1 mil units of hardware moved with those?

This is one of them scruples questions, like would you have sex with your son to save his life.

the loading screen moves because you are tilting the controller, it moves however you move your controller. Just to let you know, so if it hurts your eyes keep your controller still.

There are separate audio settings for music, speech, and sound effects if you want to change them.

Wow. That was an awesome demo. Really short, though. Like 10 minutes.

I thought there were meant to be two levels and a tutorial!

Anyway, the beginning seemed a little abrupt, I'm guessing it wasn't the real beginning of the game, so forget that.

The controls took some time to get used to, but after a while, I was headshotting Helghast left and right. The shooting felt brilliant. Although I admit I cheated a little. Alternate 2 with hold zoom on. And yet still VERY different from CoD4.

The graphics...mindblowing. It, frankly, makes MGS4 (in and only in the graphics department) look subpar. I've played Gears 2 and anybody saying Gears has better graphics is either basing KZ2 graphics off screenshots (they don't do it justice) or lying. Next to Crysis, the best graphics I have EVER seen in a game.

The AI was remarkable as well. I went into cover, and he chucked a grenade at me, and rushed to cover himself! It's so simple, yet I've never seen any other enemy do that! Sure, they throw grenades at you, but with no real rhyme or reason. This was different.

The Helghast are nice and easy to see (and shoot) with their orange eyes. L2 to snap to a wall, peek up, and either iron sight shoot or just fire and kill the damned things. So satisfying...

I played the RE5 demo after this. It felt crap after KZ2. Maybe I should try it again without the awesomeness of that demo fresh in my mind.

There's some story where Sev gets out of bed and meets the other characters where they then all get on the aircraft, but this is actually (as far as I know) the first gunplay in the game.
