most likely. They advertise their TV's for pretty much every football game.

I'd prefer it if they advertised the PSP.... or perhaps the PS2..... Selling too many PS3's isn't exactly a good thing unless they're selling quite a bit of software, not just one game.


EDIT: Heck, even advertising HOME and making sure people see how much stuff there is to buy in it sounds like a better idea. [maybe it's not]. But yea, my point is; they need to advertise something profitable right now.

Like purchasing thousands of copies of Disgaea 3 and Valkyria Chronicles.  

Spending the absolutely enormous amount of money required to advertise in the Superbowl is much better spent than a single video game. If they are to advertise anything, it would be either TVs. But if it absolutely has to be a playstation division product, it should be the playstation 3 itself. A brief, but complete advertisement to show off its most powerful LIBRARY of games. Not just 1, is the way to go.

Getting the Killzone 2 hype to the mainstream is absolutly critical. If Sony can get this game to be huge and sell very well, it would massivly help out their profits. If they can sell 3 - 4M copies buy the end of Q4 it will be a big money maker for Sony. I think it is well worth spending 5M for a very good K2 add when they could earn a couple hundered million in profits back.

If they do it... it will probably watch the Dark Knight on BluRay on a PS3 on a Bravia HDTV & you can also play Killzone 2 on it commercial.. within 20sec cause I don't think sony has the money to pay millions on a ad...
