get a ps3....
Plenty of fun games to play for now.
i know alot fo xobx 360 fans will tell you that you should get the xbox because it has like 100 games or whatever...but what is the chances of you buying that many games...
Ps3 might not have alot of games now but it does have plenty of good ones, and since i dont wantt to spend to much money on my game system i cant buy that many games anyway.

Predicted end of gen Results

PS3--------58,000,000  Ps3 takes the lead it late 2009 and never loses the lead again

Um... Cheaper Console = More Games/Accessories To Buy. Older Console = Easier to develop games (Except for the Wii, It's easiest to develop for) Easier Development = Less Developing Costs = More Games And Less Expensive  games.

As an owner of both...

If you like FPS games, the 360 is the obvious choice. If you are not into FPS games, the PS3 and the 360 are about on the same ground, with the PS3 getting a slight advantage this year.

I'm a jRPG fan, and for the 360, the scene is still in the experimental stage. I got my 360 mainly for Lost Odyssey and Cry On, which I hope will be better than Blue Dragon (a bit disappointed in it).

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Conservatives:  Pushing for a small enough government to be a guest in your living room, or even better - your uterus.

for me it would be a PS3, but I have no reason to by one untill the software lineup is stronger and nothing coming out within the next 6 months interests me, except maybe R&C.

The 360 does have alot of good games, but if you dont like FPS you mite as well forget the majority of them. Basically look at what games you have played in the past and see if theyre available on the 360 or PS3, thats the whole basis of my preference. I want games such as loco roco, MGS, FF and so on, as well as some of the other multiformat stuff like burnout.

If you're the tye of gamer thats not so fussy and is happy playing the annual Fifa, need for speed and tombraider, a 360 will do fine but i wouldnt bother with the 'elite', wait for the standard models to recieve the new chipsets and heatsinks.

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick
