PS3 probably only has between 1-3 games in the top 30. I think that may be a sing that it is in trouble.

Dead or Alive is a fighting game. Are they the same genre or different?

Why, yes! It does sound like different games are popular now, as if different audiences are becoming engrossed in the medium. The shift will not seem like much taken in aggregate because of the way things average out, but I feel the winds a-blowin'.

It was a ban bet, but we never made a new once once the ban bets were banned.

So is wii really overtracked by a million? Just lulz. It has not been adjusted down? Does that also mean that ps2 did not lose record for one weeks/months sales?

Not necessarily because NPD is not the authority, official shipment reports are. Luckily in Nintendo's case regional data is given for shipments, so we'll be able to tell who is closer.

  Something alongs the lines that the reason it won't be adjusted down was to keep these numbers aligned with the rest of the year. Also  something about waiting for shipment figures to make an adjustment.

Also it wasn't overtracked by a million. It was 800k, last month wii was undertracked by 400k (assuming NPD is right)
