The fact that it's between MK and pokemon makes it safe to predict that it sold more than 30k this week.

 

edit:just seen the estimated numbers for other games, it's probably in the mid 20's

given the Famitsu figures for WKC 1st week 203K and 2nd week 73K, this week it should have sold more than 24K? to make it over 300K copies sold.

that's pretty damn good for a new IP in 3 weeks!

The PSP is doing pretty damn good in JP. Now Sony needs to figure out how to export this success to other regions.

This is Media Create not Famitsu...

Still though I guess this means VGChartz underestimated WKC's sales in their preview since their range was 19000-23000 and Media Create has it as 26100 and Famitsu ahs it somewhere over 24k. I'm not surprised that they udnerestimated the sales though. Although I was hoping for high sale I expected the games sales to fall more than what it actually did.

Nintendo has really gotta do something about the wii, part of the lower sales is because of the recession, but i think there is more to it than that. I think it's about time for some new colors/price cut etc. PS3 sales are also down but not as badly. Strangely PSP sales are down from last year despite the PSP revival starting later last year.

Nintendo is cleaning up. Sony is holding on strong with their key titles. I predict a bang up year for both the PSP and PS3 this year in Japan, though they will fail to touch Nintendo's hardware numbers.
