I really hope so and I wan't the title to succeed greatly but I'm worried that they're too focused in the wrong directions.

I see this game bombing.......it would do better to come out on PC IMO.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

It's certainly an ambitious project. Hiring an architect and a movie set desinger, 70 actors, spending 170 days doing mo-cap and outsourcing development to third parties based in Asia.

Hopefully they pull it off.

 Cage says that he'll resort to standard cinemas only when absolutely necessary, and he hopes to make Heavy Rain a game that can be enjoyed in short, episodic bursts. He believes that the savvy, adult audience he's courting don't necessarily have the time to sit down and plow through ten hours of gameplay -- instead, he hopes that it's an ongoing mystery that you'll keep returning to over the course of a few weeks.

 

 

 Should be interesting to see how they will pull that one off. In the past if the story really engaged me then I would have to finish the game as soon as possible, and I wouldn't really be able to enjoy story games spread over a few weeks due to lack of patience. And its been the same with books. The only games I seem to be able to enjoy in short episodic bursts now are games you can pick up and play like fighting, racing and puzzle, where there is no story attached.

I am going to absolutely love the hell out of this game. Some of my favorite TV shows are...
CSI Miami
CSI New York
Law and Order:SVU
Missing
etc.

This game tends to turn real crime drama into an interactive game, where you control the outcomes and what is going on. I love the spiritual and emotional connection you form while watching these shows with the characters and the die hard situations they get into. Its so captivating. If this game can even capture a glimps of that I will be sold.

Holy son of a Bitch, I want Heavy Rain. It just became one of my most wanted PS3 games.

Can't WAIT to see some real footage :D and I also love TV shows such as CSI. They keep making me come back to see more. If Heavy Rain can do the same, I will love this game and probably be one of my All Time Favorites.

There is definitely more to list that I want, but that's my main focus there.
