Well, yes the gameplay is boring... I mean, you move your analog stick in the direction the screen tells you to.

But just think of it as an interactive movie. You know, anyone who has played MGS4 should know what I'm talking about.

The article is dishonest and also the worst kind of pandering.

And the game being exclusive shouldn't get your hopes up any higher. Lack of vision is a lack of vision, and I have yet to see vision from these people.

Discussing the game and the article itself is somehow off-topic? I do not see how this logic begins to work. A discussion thread about a game isn't limited just to "Hurray Heavy Rain", especially when the OP consists of a preview.

lol...well actually David Cage, Heavy Rain's director, is hell bent on an unrivaled story and as realistic world as you'll find. The graphics are of course going to have to match that experience, hence the "CGI quality" atmosphere!

 

I respect that but the gameplay is extremely important as well  and the title has yet to shine in that area IMO.
