same for mirro's edge,same for tomb raider,....

so some games look better on 360 and some on PS3 depending on what the lead platform for that game is.

This is the biggest joke considering the x360 is the best piece of hardware. It is a fact that its the worst in gaming history considering how many that has have had to be repaired. I don't play mine much and its in the shop. Nintendos hardware has always been excellent and sony's has been great thus far.

As for the games its whatever you like will be your favorite consle though all of them has different games to offer.

Perhaps you should learn to read and analyze what is being said more carefully. I stated absolutely nothing of the sort. The 360 hardware is notably less than perfect. I was just commenting that the poster was calling out toastboy for presenting his argument of "best" by inferring it through the use of a link. He then called him a pompous ass for implying that it was fact. Then you come along and say it IS, in fact, FACT. He didn't call you out. That's hypocrisy on his part at its finest in my book. Regardless of your tiredness of PS3 FUD, it doesn't preclude you from having to read carefully and respond accordingly. Otherwise you ARE a blind fanboy -- inserting whatever meaning you want to make your argument seem correct.

The PS3 is a fine piece of hardware and probably the best made of the three, on average, unit for unit. I've had 5 Xbox 360s (though only 1 was RROD and the other 4 were DVD-related). I have 2 Wiis (DVD failure). I've had 1 PS3 80 gig -- no failures yet. Admittedly, this is just anecdotal. Does that make you feel better?

But its true, the PS3 is the best piece of console hardware this generation, im not basing this off my fanboyism since thats what your pointing at.

 

Lol, again, I didn't say the PS3 was/wasn't the best piece of hardware in my original post.  Are you aware that you completely jumped to your own conclusions when responding to my post?

It really doesnt matter how you spin it, most games just run better on it.

 




Reasonable on 30 December 2008

The 360 can't be the best HW as its build quality is behind both Wii and PS3, it has the biggest external power brick I've ever seen, and it has had serious reliability issues.

Of course my definition of HW is based on the console itself and how well made it is, not how good games run on it, nor how popular it is.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

What's with the controversial opinions all of a sudden? Fable 2 looks better than Uncharted? Fable III will outsell the next Zelda? The 360 is the best piece of hardware?

But the context of reaity here is that it becoming less and less than "most" multi-platform games run better on the 360. 
A more accurate statement would be "While more multi-platform games run better on the 360 in the past, that trend is balancing itself out as developer are getting a better handle on PS3 development."  So to say that the 360 s the best piece of hardware because of your original statement would be misleading because it doesn't apply things in context.  Because if what you are saying is true in light of the topic, 360 development over the PS3 should always be consistant  from day one which has been proven false since more and more PS3 games are equal in quality if not better.  So please do not try to spin.
