Hey, Seece, this might get a bit personal, but... Well, sorry - it will be

How come you only reply to the posts that you find "a fanboy's wet dream" and such? Replying to those in the matter you are (and calling them a fanboy's wet dream) is only going to derail your own thread.

I replied to you, Kantor and numonex :)

Oops, I missed your reply to me :P My bad.

Well, looking at it, there weren't actually that many constructive responces here, so just forget that post (the quoted one)

Forget games, Killzone will not give the PS3 any significant boost unless Sony advertise the hell out of it. So what will we have in America in 2009?

Guerilla Games must be extremely nervous about KillZone. Hugely budgeted PS3 games have been bringing about the demise of studios lately and they look to be next on the list. When KillZone 2 flops and the studio goes under, nobody will want to develop for the PS3.

Nobody will want to develop for the Ps3 exclusively.

But again, what major (non 1st party) exclusive hits can you name?

Let's check the 360...

Whoa! There's not one single exclusive (non 1st party) million seller on the console?

No wait, there's Tom Clancy Ghost Recon. 1 title then (possibly 2 or 3 if I missed something).

And the Ps3...

Metal Gear Solid 4

Whoa! They're tied?

Final case: Developing for just 1 of the HD consoles is a damn bad idea (unless you're 1st party). Multiplat is the only way to go. Developers seem to have learned that with the X360 already, now they have with the Ps3 as well.

Saints Row

Left 4 Dead

Dead Rising

Dead or Alive 4

And its not a bad idea if its paid for. Microsoft are very giving in that respect.

Hehe, I thought Saints Row, Dead Rising and Dead or Alive 4 were all on Ps3 as well.

Well, that dismissed my point again.

Crap :P

No your point still stands, if the PS3 was out in 05/06 DR & SR would have been on the PS3 as well :) Thats still 3 for xbox though!

Dead Rising is an exclusive now? So Wii games don't count as games?

I can understand PC+360 being exclusive, but 360+Wii? No.

But, the 360 has no third party exclusive 3 million sellers, now does it?

I object to the use of the word "when" as if this is a confirmed fact.

Look at GTA2, then look at GTA3. A series is capable of improving, you know.

lol well I think of chop till you drop as a different game tbh. Nope I doubt either system ever will either :)

Gears of War is essentially a third party. Epic owns the I.P afterall!

So there are two games which sold over 3 million and are third party exclusives. Gears 1,2.
