there is ONE week left to 2008 not THREE!
THAT actually doesn`t matter.
As i said before APPROXIMATELY.

3.5 mln. by the end of 2007.
~ 8 mln. by the end of 2008.
Sales will drop next week what are you going on about???!!!!
LOL, what ?

PS3 will be around 14 mln. by the end of 2009 after getting pricecut in NA.

So, why does this matter?
Or you can`t answer? LOL.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Your predictions are really poor do you not understand that yet? Just look at your Japan predictions ... in fact look at anything you have predicted. I don't know how you think sales will rise so well in its worst region (xbox 360 and Wii land)

We can't make bets on this site can we?? :(

Japan wans`t a prediction, only the statement:

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2008 with average weekly sales 40k.
PS3 will reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2008 with average weekly sales 60k.
I had to cut it, because signature was too big for mods.

I don't know how you think sales will rise so well in its worst region
299$ price. Or GT5/KZ2 bundle with 349$.

You DO believe, that 299$ 60GB 360 model will OUTSELL 299$ 80GB PS3 model???

Probably not, only because the bulk of 360 sales will be with the 199$ Arcade .....

How is it to twist things, you know exactly why a 60gb 360 won't outsell a 80gb PS3 and its because 360 sales are split across 3 different consoles.

Why don't you ask me if ALL PS3 sales can match Arcade/60GB? Stop twisting things.

Maybe, maybe not. Hard to tell since this gen bucks trends set be previous generations. The reality here is that 3rd parties are still heavily supporting the PS3, and some of those parties have reported that their PS3 software sales profits have been the most across all platforms. Also regardless of marketshare in N.A. or worldwide, SONY needs to do whatever they can do continue making quality hardware and their variety of quality software. Because as a gamer, SONY needs to put the priority of their products over marketshare which thankfully this is the case given the scenario. This is good for all gamers to have that quality choice in a growing industry that can afford at least three successful consoles at the same time.
