Maybe, maybe not. Hard to tell since this gen bucks trends set be previous generations. The reality here is that 3rd parties are still heavily supporting the PS3, and some of those parties have reported that their PS3 software sales profits have been the most across all platforms. Also regardless of marketshare in N.A. or worldwide, SONY needs to do whatever they can do continue making quality hardware and their variety of quality software. Because as a gamer, SONY needs to put the priority of their products over marketshare which thankfully this is the case given the scenario. This is good for all gamers to have that quality choice in a growing industry that can afford at least three successful consoles at the same time.
