Majin-Tenshinhan - So name some games so that I can expand my library... I've played RPG's for a really long time and its my personal favorite. I've never seen people beg for a remake as much as I see them do it for this one. As far as I know FFVII is the best selling Final Fantasy game...by about 3 million sales or so (which is pretty big considering were talking about the gap between 6 million and 9 million). It also sits at 92 on Metacritic as well as Gamerankings, making it the 10th highest rated RPG on gamerankings. The only (J)RPG's to have a higher rating are P4 and FFIX.

BY the looks of this the title of this thread should have been: "Give me a list of RPGs you enjoyed more than FFVII":)

I'll recommend you a few, but you need to fill out your collection first. At least the Super Nintendo section.

I have a few RPGs I liked more than FFVII which came out afterward. I thought the other two PS1 Final Fantasies were better, I enjoyed Final Fantasy XII considerably more, the remake of Final Fantasy IV is exquisite, I liked both Knights of the Old Republic games more, the first two Fallouts (I have not played the third)...just quite a few RPGs that I've enjoyed more.

Eh... I think FFX beats FF7.

Well, in the FF series my favorite game is FFVIII, then FFVII...

I really want a remake of those two...
