As far as I know FFVII is the best selling Final Fantasy game...by about 3 million sales or so (which is pretty big considering were talking about the gap between 6 million and 9 million). It also sits at 92 on Metacritic as well as Gamerankings, making it the 10th highest rated RPG on gamerankings. The only (J)RPG's to have a higher rating are P4 and FFIX.
