I have an announcement to make everyone. I can now happily report that I'm 25% through Metroid Prime. I just got the Heat vision visor, my super Missles, and my first encounter with a Metroid.

And did I mention that this is one of the most amazing games I've ever played? Becase it is.



I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do. 

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Glad you're enjoying it Stof. This countdown's for you. A little more than two weeks to finish Prime 1 and 2. More playing, less posting. LOL.

@steven...don't feed the trolls. I know it's tempting. Especially when you're so good at rebuttal, but I'd like this thread to remain positive. Too many other threads right now are attack driven.

Sorry man, your right... but humor is positive right, and that was pretty funny.  I won't do it again.

and @Stof, don't worry, I feel like you could play them out of order if you want to.  Echoes is good, but gets kinda lengthy.  Prime 3 story is going to make it easy for people who skipped to catch up from what I understand.

 I just got Super Bombs, Grapple Beam and X-ray Visor in the span of 15 mins. I'm excited about all my new toys and sad that the parade of goodies may be coming to a close. Heat beam is about the only obvious upgrade I'm missing.

 

That metroid encounter was brilliant, wasn't it? You scan it and get that tactical tip to escape its life-sucking jaws, then you're immediately presented with a chance to test it out. :D

MP1 and 2 were such good games.

STOF if you really try hard you should be able to finish both in one week each. I never have more than a few hours every couple of days to play a game, but my actual ingame time was about 21hrs for MP1 with 90% of items, and 26hrs for MP2 with 88% of items. So, if you have 20+hrs per week you have a really good chance of making it happen.

PS if I hear you trying to postpone MP3 again I will report you to your local authorities as an enemy of the state.
