MS has by far the strongest lineup this holiday, so A) Halo cant bomb B) If it did, it wouldn't affect them. Unlike Sony that has a very weak lineup.
Nintendo will sell anyway, even though they also have a weak lineup imo. Wii doesn't have a good lineup right now and it still sells like hotcakes.
Wii doesn't have a big lineup? Not trying to start a debate here, but I don't see how Prime 3, Galaxy, and Brawl are not AAA games. Brawl especially will have longer legs than anything else that came out in the last two years. The only game IMO that can beat Brawl in terms of replay value and long legs is Halo, and thats if Halo 3 doesn't bomb.

Saying that halo 3 is going to bomb is like saying galaxy and brawl will.....
Just amazes me but yes wii has a great lineup as does the 360
With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

AA = 8.0 to 8.9 /10
AAA 9.0 to 9.9 /10
AAAA = 10/10
Halo 3 is accompanied by other great games too.

no AAA means a game thats highly rated that sells a ton of consoles. MGS, UT, Madden, Mario, Zelda, Halo, and other major franchises are AAA. There is no such think as AAAA because that would make the game would mean every console sold to date would end up buying the game and the game will sell millions of consoles. Halo 3 is no where near being that great of a game to do that unless Microsoft was going to hand each person who bought the game a $1000.

Warhawk, Unreal Tournament 3, and Uncharted Drakes Fortune are more then enough to top Microsoft's line-up. None of those games are AAA games in my opinion and Halo is one of the biggest franchises out there. Sony lacks MASSIVE games.

Seriously go to to most major game sites and they will all tell you that microsoft has a better lineup then sony, im sorry but its true.
But you do get to look forward to 2008 since it does appear to have a better lineup =)

First off i have yet to hear of ign thinking ps3 has a better lineup, that and ign is one site try the other 20 of them
