I think Banjo would have done better in Japan if it were still a platformer. The other Banjo games did okay in Japan. Not surprised by Mirror's Edge. First Person games don't seem to do well in Japan.

Looks like old franchises that are tried to be revived bomb in Japan. Klonoa, Banjo, Tenchu. Next ahead Phantom Brave and Toshinden.

Looks like tastes keep on changing, save for the classic games. If a game was successfuk in the past, it won't mean it will be successful now. Devs should know better.
