Forums - Gaming Discussion - Square enix: 360 easier to work with.

Okay, so what? Why does everyone want to make such a big deal out of everything SE's employees say? You do know what there are 3500 employees in the company, right?

Stop worrying so much already. They will make games for PS3, you are not abandoned.

Just because it is easier, doesn't mean you should develop it. Pushing yourself helps you develop as a person (in this case company). If they don't learn how to create a decent PS3 game, what happens next gen when the next X-box is as complicated if not more then the PS3?

Devs have had 2 years to get to know the PS3 hardware. People will always have their opinions. Doesn't mean they wont develop if it helps business. The PS3 will get plenty of great looking games. The point was that with the 360 to pump out the same graphics as most PS3 games can be done on the 360 faster and cheaper. The difference is the superiority of the PS3's space department.

They are starting to sound like desperate and clingy girlfriends. They can't allow MS to get a compliment.

Sux to be him then as they need those games running on ps3 anyway if they plan to sell something to those 18M owners of them not to mention 3 times higher user base in Japan :D

Kinda misleading thread title. Should be "Hiroshi Takai of Square-Enix: 360 Easier to Work With" as the article implies that this is the opinion of a single developer, and not S-E as a company.

It's all about the game.

When the link is checked the first thing that is said is this...... "Square enix: 360 easier to work with"

You know that the game will not sell any better than the 360 in japan or in the states. JRPG's have lost the following they had last gen. SE knows they need both MS and Sony's sales to continue sailing the ship this gen. All your boasting is really just air.

P.S.

18 M of the PS3 owners aren't gaming just to let you know. A very considerable portion bought the PS3 just as a DVD player. Just to let you know.

Wether it's one developer or a the entire company, the key here is I've not heard too many developers say it's easier to program on the ps3...

Bah, that's not how it is though lol. Granted, CVG is - technically - reporting false information as well, but I guess you can always rely on news sources to spin the truth these days :P.

It's all about the game.

Well we all knew 360 was easier to develop for.
