@MontanaH: Aw, it's just because I hate TR games. Maybe because all the PS ones sucked... and as for the later ones, they are eclipsed by Uncharted.

I first thought it's a rip-off and not a real Need For Speed game. I only said Russian and not Chinese or Turkish, because I think Russian developer are at least able to make a decent game - Well but they mostly suck in graphics ^^ Seriously I thought the ground textures in Underground 2 were beyond horrible (and I played the PC version)

About time. At the least, they need to kill the "yearly concept" of NFS - and do something interesting with the brand.

The racing genre is dead - it was maxed out last generation. All racing games are now effectively the same, and there is no point to flooding the market with yet more of them. Sales of Forza II, PGR4 (etc) more than prove this point.

Games series don't die...they just go into hiatus.

Seriously, there's no way publishers can say "no" to a popular name like Need for Speed. But it looks like maybe it will switch devs and get a break for a year...which isn't a bad thing from the sounds of the comments here. (I haven't played a Need For Speed since Hot Pursuit...which I thought was pretty good).
