i liked the demo but i can see it getting old really quick for me and i personally wouldn't pay to play it.

What a daft thread. The whole point of Left 4 Dead is that it's an online co-op game, and a damn good one at that. Complaining about its single player mode is like moaning that Counterstrike doesn't have a deep storyline.

there is a REASON single player isnt the first selection. The game is BASED AROUND CO-OP AND VERSUS. If you dont play what the game's main campaign is (co-op) than you jsut fail.

If you don't like playing a team game, you will most probably hate this game. If you actually do play online your teammate will all probably hate playing with you too.

I didn't think it was "Crap" per say, but I did find it to be a pretty boring title :x Online included... I guess I"m just really fond of games with sort of a class system for cooperative play, games like MMO's, Gauntlet, dungeon crawlers etc etc etc. Left4 Dead didn't really feel like a 4 man group that HAD to work together, more like... 4 guys that are all capable of everything just kinda running around WITH each other. Just different preferences I guess :P

Oh man, I don't know what difficulty you were playing on, but I can assure you that on expert they absolutely HAVE to work together.

@Vlad, oh nononono don't get me wrong, I get that you HAVE to work together, I mean just for shear numbers alone :P I just don't like that it's 4 everyman doing things together, I don't like that there isn't a specific task for each person other than "stay alive". I guess I just like having a said task that not every other person on the team can do :P
