Factor 5 are a train wreck of a developer. I won't be that upset to see them go under, and the talented employees can head to other companies.

Its hard to understand just how bad LAIR was, and how embarrassing it was for Sony.

Their last 2-3 titles have all been disasters - I really don't know what is going on there (but I can imagine).

good news for MS

There is no added value for MS whatsoever in buying F5. I hate it that everyone in gamingland thinks that MS can just buy anything they want. That's complete BS. Gaming is not their core business, so corporate take-overs in that area are hard to justify to the shareholders.

For Nintendo that's a whole different story though, cause F5 basically functioned partly as a 2nd party for a while, developing middleware for Nintendo's consoles. Especially if they DO have Kid Icarus in development I think it's a big chance Nintendo will help them out.
