PS: Most Norwegians have a basic grip on German (not me though, I hated it and took only 2 months of classes in high school). It is remarkably similar to Norwegian in many respects (no wonder since they're both from Germanic).

I'm really lost. I generally understand pretty much all European languages decently (I can only talk/write the scandinavian/English/Spanish though), but I have absolutely no clue what you guys are saying.

@Oyvetc. the problem is that these aren't languages, just dialects. Even a german has trouble in understanding this.

Sorry if it seemed like I was attacking you because of your 'joke'.  We don't get a lot of news about Austria around here so that stuck out a lot.  It wasn't as much of an insider as you thought.
