like it matters, resistance 2 is a much better game than cod4, and despite WaW lacking the quality game that cod4 was, most of the potential R2 buyers went with cod WaW instead..

The PS3 needs it's new "killer-app" to come, and fast.

The character models are obviously very detailed and so are the environments, but they still aren't very appealing to the eye. I guess it's the setting, just like with Gears it's mostly grey and brown. Personally I prefer grafix with lots of colors and nature, like Oblivion, Far Cry 2, Fable II and Uncharted.
If the reviews give Killzone 2 89% it will sell 2.5 mill ww lifetime.
If it gets Gears 2 numbers (93.8%) it can get close to 3.5 mill, but that is the absolute maximom.
Killzone 2 is probably one of the most impressive titles I have seen on the Playstation 3. The gameplay is amazing and the storyline really adapts with the game. The graphics are like something I've never seen before. This game has huge potential and high expectations. It will still have some great first week sales.

@ slimebeast, you are right, Uncharted certainly looks better, but the textures look mind blowing and the gameplay does look really nice!
My local PS3 owning friends are into franchises that they bought on the PS2. They aren't very informed either. All they play is games like Call of Duty 4, Socom, Fight Night and Madden. I loaned MGS4 out on two occasions, and nobody even bothered to play it. I hate gamers like that. Sad thing is, they'd probably love Killzone 2 and other non-realistic games if they'd give them a try.....but, they won't.

You really can't take MP beta into account for the whole game unless that's the only part of the game that concerns you. KZ1 has a pretty nice online portion to it and it did kick some ass online. I still say that it wont touch R2 quality wise.
