Online for wii is just fine. GET OVER IT. I have played Mario Kart wii online technically every night and I only had one conectivity issue since then. Brawl is different but I am not a big fan of brawl.

And the reason why the wii doesn't had a hard drive is because the point of the console was to make it cheap, accesible and power saving. After seeing my friends' xbox360 overheating and crashing after a few hours of playing I am glad that the wii doesn't had that problem.

And the reason why Nintendo doesn't do what Microsoft and Sony does is because Nintendo doesn't do what the losers do. Give them some credit.

 

LOL MK Wii played more with friends or with family than with online anyway. After a month of playing MK Wii I didnt play it again  because theres nothing to do once you unlock all the characters, cars/bikes and maps anyway. If Ninty somehow make it online competitve and added new and downloadable features with this game will gamers of the Wii will switch to another game when practically every week there are user content and 1st party content downloadable online?

 

Well that's a matter of taste. I know many people that still plays MKWii online since the day they bought it. I personally still play MK double dash since I bought it a year ago and I have a friend who still plays MK64 on his N64. Not everybody is to keen of DLC. Many-specially non-hardcore gamers, like myself-just want to play with others and have fun instead of filling the memory with unnecesary stuff. Besides the Tournaments are a way to add replay value.But again, is  a matter of taste.

 

 I think thats the reason why online on consoles arent much needed, one online games per year is more than enough to satisfy our online gaming needs, more than that it will overshoot the market same as HD consoles did. It doesnt mean I dont like online I like online but this is a console we're talking about there, not PCs...

OK, MOH: H2 last year was good but its a PSP port with horrible animation and bad hit detection, so... a year later we have COD: WAW have very good graphics, good animation and good hit detection but its only 8 players then another online game come along, which is The Conduit now you can play with 16 players it also have good graphics though I prefer the COD 4 engine better and have good controls. Now you see how online gaming on the Wii have improve and make the gamer have more engaging experience without too much focusing on it?

The wii does not even need a hard drive, or 120gb. Like, 20-40 cd game saves on the 360 with 60gb, and 30 cd game saves on the wii with 512kb!

And if you need more memory, you get 15,000 blocks (50-100 cd game saves) with a 2gb sd card.

And no, to have good online, hard drives are a waste, look at MoH:H2, it had everthing but voice chat and vehicles(they could add both, and wii speak needs to come out to do that.)

Anyway, hard drives are things for consoles that don't manage memory that well.

I am not saying the wii has more memory than the 360, because the wii does lack when downloading from wii shop.

Talking about engines? goto purenintendo.com and search for oblivion engine.

They put the oblivion engine on the wii.(used to make oblivion, and fallout 3 on it)

So I was watching Nintendo channel videos of some games I may buy, saw that new Shaun White looks Saw33t, then I downloaded some demo's for my DS, the spore demo is ok but kind bland, so many demos though... I saw some funny stuff in the new strongbad also.

I don't know there's just so much stuff, has anyone else tried the new voice chat channel? I should probably pick up AC, too bad I don't like AC... anyway so yea I got a tun of messages from work, friends, partner and so on while I was away and a Mario Kart challenge. ^_^

Apparantly Luigi could use some help too, gotta go enjoy my Wii and it's Opera browser now and the fact that I'm burning less power than a light bulb right now.

The Wii dont even need a 10 GB hard drive or even 5, 1 GB is more than enough to fill out the space of the Wii internal drive, if theyre making it. The 360 hard drive was too much of space that they even forced to download TV shows, music videos, game videos and movies to fill up the space proof:

Well with the Wii you need a big harddrive since we can download games that developers make. I can only download 2 virtual console games and maybe 2 wiiware games. Other then that I am filled.

Second I did not know that those two games had online and the guitar hero 2 was not on the Wii

in most cases, the Wii doesn't get online, but it's starting to improve!
and the result turns out good! i mean playing online on Wii is not a bad experience as HD console fans like to say.... : P

 So let me get this straight. You started a thread to whine about a problem that you didn't know anything about? Are you fucking serious? It is one thing to complain about a game you have never played, but this is taking it to a whole other level. This has to be one of the worst thread I have ever had the great misfortune of clicking on.

Gnizmo first off I did not know that Quantum of Solace had online play? I saw the game and it never shows on any review about it having online play. Second I did not know that Guitar Hero 2 was not going to the wii. Someone made a thread (http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=46974&page=2) saying that it will not have DLC. Never said it was no gonig to be on the Wii. So I thought it was on the Wii. I know what I am talking about and not just some so called fanboy whining over shit. I just did not know why they were not making online play for the Wii, but for the ps360?
