im not making my decison upon anything. I also specifically said to wait and see. But when a "western" new IP, bundled or not (also foggy on bundle breakdown and bundle tracking) sees  a pretty decent, as in small, drop off in any region i think it speaks well to its "legs"

I by no means insinuated we should extrapolated the percentages or even made it a point to say "hey, see the legs in japan" im simply saying the game saw a little drop in japan, which was the only territory where we have a real 1 week to 2 week data set.

Maybe im the only person who wants to actually see week to week data before argueing my brains out about a titles legs. So, the sane and logical person i am will use the only data i see that shows 2 full weeks of sales and just stand back and say, it saw a little drop on japan. Now lets wait and see.

Great sales. I think the "will be huge" campaign knocked a lot of the win off this success, but it's a win nonetheless.

I think the only reason a lot of people were cheering against LBP was because Sony fans tried to play it up like it would be the end-all game of this generation, and an evolution for gaming.

If it would have just been hyped as a regular AAA game, like it actually was, and not the savior of all mankind, 2m would be respected instead of laughed at.

Good sales....not huge. IS not what people predicted. Still, solid sales. LEt's wait for the legs....but so far, i think japan is not gonna be part of that

Nice, this game has been advertised quite heavily in my part of Australia, with some trully classic tv ads during prime-time.

I don't think anyone in japan actually goes looking for a "Developed in Japan!" sticker.

It's just that games developed for western audiences often don't fit japanese tastes.
