The J man has noticed that his friends who play WoW are literally addicted to it . They read up on it at school and start talking about some of the spells in the game and one of them actually has a WoW laptop. When the J man asked them why there so addicted to it they said " Its like doing drugs" (trust the J man they should know). So people on vgc are you addicted to WoW ,does it mess up how you do your daily activities? Do you breathe eat and sleep thinking about WoW?

Well I have a coworker who can't stop playing this game, he talk about it at work, he check out armor/weapons on the internet several times a day, and when he gets home he play WoW like 5 hours(monday-friday) on saturdays and sundays he plays around 8-9 hour.

I used to play it alot but could never play more then 3 hours, but i did sometimes dream about it, but who didn't once in a while? :D

Not all drugs are addictive and not all addictive things are drugs, so just because some people are addicted to World of Warcraft doesn't make it a drug ...

Massively multiplayer games can (quite often) match certain elements of the real world that people tend to obsess about (materialism and status) which makes it much more immersive in a very disturbing kind of way. People who are marginalized (in some way) can quite often use success in a game like WoW to compensate for lack of success elsewhere and (as a result) it can be very addictive.

A cousin of mine is addicted to that game. They must have programmed some subliminal crack in there somewhere, it's really messing him up.
