MGS4, LBP, RES 2 --- 3 AAA exclusives in 1 year! damn.....even 360 could never do that!

 

 

Neither Sony or Microsoft is pushing anything next gen. The Wii is the only true next gen system. If you want games just for graphics, PC has been doing this for the longest and no one is praising its "next gen" status.

except it has no decent games to play.

There's no point being nex-gen for the sake of being nex-gen without anything to pla6

@darth: that's absolutely not true. Games like Farcry 2, World of Goo and Dead Space are on PC with Fallout 3 and Red Alert 3 (and others i'm sure I forgot) coming.

Which version are you getting?  I broke down and pre-ordered the CE for the cooler cover and the Chimeran figurine.  I'm glad it doesn't come in some ginormous tin can like some other CEs.  I like my games all lined up neatly on my shelf, lol.

Games the likeness of Resistance 2 can be found anywhere, save for the 300 ft monsters. I'll give you the 300 ft monsters.

 

You'll have to give Resistance 2 the 8 player online coop with a stand alone campaign.  I think it is the only title that on any console that offer it.

60-player multiplayer ain't common, either.  Can't be just "found anywhere" even if a few other games have managed it.

 

OT I like the report of sustained high frame rates even with insane numbers of enemies onscreen.
