I love the Wii and 360 very much, my friends and I play them all the time...I have yet to have any friend get a PS3, so I can't comment much there, but rest assured, anybody who takes things too far and trolls will get in trouble...as evident by those who have been banned already. Console ownership does not matter in the realm of moderation...

It's probably just true that the majority of those banned have been PS3 fans, but they were banned because they were rude, obscene, and generally only made comments about "wii fanboys" and the like. Not every article is out to destroy the PS3, but some users apparently thought so.

I would agree that there are a fair few people who were fans of Nintendo N64 era, and therefore were never on top until now and enjoying it.

For example, last Fri. I went to youth group thing, and we played Wii and N64, as of course most people wanted to play with the Wii, I went for the n64, because I knew I would get the chance to play (only 8 slots to play for like 20 people). And I really enjoyed Mario Tennis (although Wii Tennis is better :P), and Mario Cart (and according to many people there, the GC version was better), but neither of thse games are mentioned on these forums. However, Goldeneye is considered Godly or somin, but when I played it (a game which was my first an only (until last Fri) go on an N64), I didn't find it great at all. I would much prefer playing 007 Nightfire, with 4 people, 4 AI bots and explosives :D The came was just really hard to play, and the 1 analogue stick was horrible to use for an FPS. There were no complaints when we switched to Mario Cart, and only one person was any good at it. I would say that argueably we had more fun playing Mario Cart. Personally if anyone finds that game hugely better than something like Halo, Gears, R:FOM, etc. then I'm just gonna assume they're biased, and really love Nintendo games. I just don't get why that game was so great (as many people have claimed it to be). I'm not trying to really bash the game here, I just don't think it lived up to the Godly status it seems to have with a fair few people here.

PS. When I was there, one of the guys (who had an N64, and virtually all other major consoles (excluding PS3)) held up the Zelda: OOT cartridge and said it was really good. I have yet to play it, and so I will assume he was right.

But I agree there are more people who own the PS3 on these forums recently, however I would say there has been a similar amount of people who favor the Wii who have come to thse forums aswell. I also agree with LeroyBrown, that you can not own all 3 and be objective. (if there wasn't a space between "can" and "not", it would have a totally different meaning lol :P)

I'm assuming you guys didn't play N64 as kids...because it was amazing back then. The graphics on Goldeneye, Mario Kart, Mario 64, and Mario Tennis were great, and they played like a dream. I can't really play Goldeneye now either...it bores me...but that's just how games evolve I guess...though Mario 64 is still great.

Playing those games in junior high was great...I guess it depends what system you grew up with.

Now the people involved? Of course they have a bias! I have a bias! You have a bias! Some people have persecution complexes, some people are batshit insane, some are bored and looking for attention, some are young, dumb and full of... innocence, but everyone has a bias!

Goldeneye may be slow now, but that game is 10 years old. It rocked back then when it was essentially the first good console FPS. GoldenEye was one of the first games of that genre, it was a solid FPS with a great storyline and fantastic multiplayer. That game design may have been copied more than any other game, and it is still going on today.

yup biased but then again when the ps2 was the shit sony fans gloated and rubbed it in everyones face that the ps2 was "that" great. and now that the wii is a bigger success so far sony fanboys now are thinking everyones biased towards nintendo.
