i didn't find it too long until other people started saying it's long. so, maybe you want a shorter version and then a longer one for those people who want a little more info.

Well, the recent mention of VGChartz on Gamepro did not spark any discussion about the validity of the site. Or, at least, no the first hour or so.

This thread should be a sticky, though the lack of activity in the Website Discussion Forum will probably keep it up on top for a LONG TIME.

That is exactly the kind of thing that will silence the critics who can be silenced (some people just wanna bitch).

Whats the first thing you think when you are reading someone's post, comment, etc and they say something like.."Xbox has already sold 11.23 million!!!"....

For me at least it's always "Where did he get HIS numbers??". So in that same vein I think a link to how you get your numbers on the front page would go a long way to quelling some of the bashers before they get started by educating them before they are frothing at the crotc...err mouth...

Maybe a small button on the front page with "you don´t trust our data? click here to learn more" should help out.

The link would send you to a site where vgchartz methods are explained, where you can find graphs comparing vgchartz to other companies like media create and NPD to show how accurate the site is and explain the difference shipped vs. sold (with a link to the shipment site of vgchartz).

I´d really like to do something like that but I don´t know where to find graphs (or how to make them) and I´m not sure if my english is good enough for it.

Ive spread this site over the ps blog were theres over a hundred people, just told em the only site with the most accurate numbers is vgchartz.
