ANYWAY, how reliable are vgchartz numbers really ? Are they 99% correct or just pure fantasy?

I really don't know why MS and SONY fans fight so much when Nintendo is kicking both of our asses.

I never called the 360 a failure for a start. I just said it'll finish in 3rd place, but a successful 3rd place. And by successful last place, I mean, it finished last, but it gain market share, and it's selling alot of software, so its making the xbox brand better, and not losing MS money.

But its true, the xbox1 was a complete failure in others, so passing it isn't such an accomplishment an such. It is one, but not one to be jumping for joy.

I do believe however, that MS set themselves up well for their next console. The next gen will be interesting.

 I don't know how much it will sell. But the fact still remains the same. MS did everything they could to make sure they had decent numbers. From the get go the 360 was suppose to outperform the original in every way. This was expected. You cant compare consoles this gen from last... Its all about the here and now. And right now they can barely outsell the more expensive console. This isnt XB/360/ps3 now.

Is there even a point to get yourself all worked up about a companies' sales number? Seriously, think about it. what direct correlation is there? WIll you get a fat bonus if Microsoft sold well?


People like us should worry about Software titles. Leave Microsoft to worry about their inability to attract potential customers even at bottom prices.

I think that the point many are trying to make (however immature they are doing it >_>) is that the price cut should've had better results as it has had now. That may still come with new bundles, but with the decrease in sales this week, it seems as if it is not turning out the way MS (and its fans) had hoped.

In that way, the price cut is seeminly losing steam. This contrasts heavily with the PS3 that isn't really having anything going for it right now, but still sells pretty much equal to a recent price-cut console.


You are right that the Xbox360 has proven to be better in this market than its predecessor, but that was to be expected after seeing how it has been doing the past two years.

Bringing that up and saying everyone is blind at the exact same time when the xbox360's sales are not that good in Others, is just asking for a reaction, especially as it comes across as "well, it has done better than the previous version, don't look at its rather low price cut sales, look at this, this is the truth, not that".

i know this site is not the best but they adjust their numbers when adjustments are needed and this is part of being "honest" and i love it, that's we should not look at weekly numbers
