There is much more hate directed to Nintendo. Every other post is about the Wii's lack of third party games or that they're going casual and abandoning the core or that the graphics suck or that the controls are a gimmick or that it's too kiddy or...

During a recent interview with Japanese economic website Toyo Keizai, ever-charming Ken Kutaragi had this to say about Sony's goal for the PS3: "for consumers to think to themselves 'I will work more hours to buy one'. We want people to feel that they want it, irrespective of anything else."

That's certainly what the market is saying. 

As to your original post, you might consider backing it up with actual evidence.  Vague claims of "people say this", or "everyone thinks that" just don't wash.

Three people: Kaz Hirai and Jack Trenton....and now the new Sony Europe person. These three single handly took everything Ken accomplished and spit on it. If I have a single reason to dislike Sony it is the people who are incharge of Sony.

Also the brand now sucks. Lack of third-party exclusives that I like.

Also I own a ps3....along with PS and PS2. I was planning on getting a psp but the DSi Showed up.

PS: I don't hate Sony, I just dislike current things about them.

Sony for me should be hated for 4 reasons :

- Ultra high price point (i know that it has a lot of features but 600$ 500$ and even 400 $ are too high for a games console)

- Sony's Arrogance in 2006 2007 (i think devid reeves once said that even without games the PS3 will sell,, WTF ?)

- Sony's unwillingness to work and negociate with third parties (Assassins creed, GTA4, DMC4, and now FFXiii)

- The console is too powerfull, but too complex for middle and small developpers.

Thoses are the 4 reasons that make me hate the company,, an i'm sony fan,, but i think most of the bashing on the forums is from immature 360 owners that love to bash for the sake of bashing!

because at this point, the ps3 doesnt have a lot of huge games, and even less great games that are PS3 exclusive (MGS4 comes to mind, but thats about it.)

There are many fanboys out there ....some of them love Nintendo and took the Sony triumph as if it had anally raped Mario and their childhood or something ,others just want MS to be on top due to patriotism or obscure reasons (I dont get why anyone would want MS to take over the videogaming scene and never release it) and others have created complicated conspiracy theories about Sony being a monopoly last generation and them being the freedom fighters.Mostly absurd things ,as you can see....
