That game looks awesome to me, when I get back I'll play it and comment on your board just how your statement stands up, but I'm not commenting on your opinion because it's just that.... you are being very trendy right now though.

Cool.

Well disolitude vs nintendo fanbase is a common thing on these boards. No wonder I seem "trendy". :)

What´s this game about?

Which system was the original S & P released on?

N64, you can get it on Virtual console on the Wii...game was good for the time but not a classic due to horrid visuals by todays stadards.

Isn't that true for most classics? Or do games stop being classics the second their visuals are outdated?

I haven't played Super Mario Bros. since the SNES came out.  It's so blocky it's hideous.

You can't seriously be comparing charge N blast to Sin and Punishment. Even if conceptually they are the same, charge N blast isn't anywhere near the quality of Sin and Punishment even if it is running on better hardware.

Charge n blast on gamerankings average 63%. I can't find Sin and Punishment on there, but it is definately above a 6. Now you can't rely on reviews for everything obviously but it shows the difference in quality. Blast n Charge was a mediocre shooter, Sin and Punishment was the N64s swan song, a truly bad ass run and gun game bursting with style, great bosses, level design and music.

There was nothing wrong with charge n blast... http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/drm/chargenblast

It was a great little arcade shooter just like sin and punishment. Sin and punishment wouldn't have scored much higher than this when it was released...remember PS2 was already out when this game was released. I believe its a standard Kirk Cobain case here...the game never got a fair shake in its day hence the myth hyped it up to AAA status.

But hey...if some people enjoy it as much as other AAA games like Resident evil 4 and Halo...my opinion is a grain of salt.

You can say that all you want, and there is no way to argue with it because it's your opinion. But the vast majority of people that have played it then and now think it's awesome. It's not just a Kurt Cobain case because even when the game was originally released it was highly praised, and people were importing the game for 100$. It was considered the last big hurrah for the N64 and it deserves and deserved the praise it got and is getting.

This is going to be a day one buy for me. Mmmm.

New teaser video. The main character doesn't look like Saki. I wonder if it's Spoilers Saki's kid Looks, fast and furious just like I would want.

Gamespot import review in 2000 gave sin and punishment - 7.1

Gamespot VC review in 2007 gave it - 8.0

How can game get better over a 7 year time frame?

Both review mention the low polygon count lets lots of things appear on screen. I don't know...but some may interpret this as hard to see what to shoot at...

Who's Kirk Cobain?

Kurt Cobain's long lost sibling. Supposedly he was the next one Courtney Love shot in the face so he couldn't claim any riches. Damn bitch!

On-topic: Sin and Punishment 2! Hot skippedy damn! My new most wanted game on this planet. That makes the Wii 4/4 with my most anticipated games. Unprecedented that is.

I'm sorry, but you're just wrong. You don't have to like the game if you don't want to, but by now it's just trolling. They didn't say it was hard to know what you were shooting at, it said it had alot of enemies on screen, and used low poly count enemies to achieve that. No one but you would interpret it that way. Go find some videos to illustrate your point, there are plenty on youtube that are of poor quality that should help your case.

How can a game get better over a 7 year time frame? You'd be hard pressed to find anyone that would give the original Super Mario Bros less than a 10 now a days. If a game ages well, and manages to transcend it's time period, yes it will get better scores now than it did originally. There are alot of things that are appreciated more with age.

Can you explain to me why Punch out Wii should be any more exciting or even as good as Fight Night 4...which is a sequel to an amazing boxing game from a few years back?

Because Punchout and Super Punchout are way better....but that's just my opinion.

So, I guess it's a truth that defies explaination. Why is Punchout better than Fight Night round 5? Why is the sky blue? Why is the grass green? Why is SotN better than Uncharted? Why is Godfather 2 better than Pirates of the Carribean? These questions all have one thing in common. It's impossible to form an argument to prove they are correct, but it's undeniable that they simply are.

I suggest you invest in an emulator.

Just for the record, insulting Sin and Punishment is one thing, but flaming Punchout is an entirely different type of hit to your credibility. That's like flaming The Beatles and saying NSync pwns them hard. It really is right up there. Go tell anyone else that FNr4(a game more reputable for its easy achievements than its gameplay innovations) is greater than Mike Tyson's Punchout, lol. See what they tell ya.
