Hay there --OkeyDokey-- I say horses for courses to your comment. Im 38 years old and having these downloadable games are heven sent. I have kept all my old consols/computers and emulators right back to the Atari 2600 and even ferther to the old Pong machines. Its very nastalgic to play these games we once did 30 years ago. Your right some game suck but most didnt. In those days the machines didnt have the flash bang grafics and audio like today so the game had to be well structured and engrossing. Some old games only used 1Kb RAM to make a text adventure that kept you hunting for hours or days. Have a look at a game called Elite on the Commodore 64. With its limited RAM of about 38Kb and 1Mhz CPU it put out a game that was so big it was reveared for years after. I own all the new consols and play most of the new games and not many hold my interests like the old games did. Todate only one game on the PS3 that does is Assassins Creed because of its magnatued of the scape. Xbox360 for me was Halo again because of its depth and scape.
Nintendo saw fit to emulate these games because they where so much fun.
But I must agree with most posters here about Nintendos carelessness with the data handling on the Wii and SD. Maybe they didnt expect it to be so popular?
