It's "over" in the sense that the battle between 360 and PS3 is completely meaningless, and nothing will change should the PS3 sell slightly more units. But I don't think that's what you meant, and I seem to be one of the few people who regards the 360/PS3 "war" as irrelevant. Which it is.
End of 2008 totals: Wii 42m, 360 24m, PS3 18.5m (made Jan. 4, 2008)
^ Agreed, I hardly draw any distinctions between those two consoles, both are HD, both have their online services, very similar games if not the same game, both try to imitate the PC even more than their predecessors.

Ok....when the posters name is "xboxfanboy" what do you expect.
It would have been funnier if his name was "hugesonyfanboy"!

That. Beyond Fail. @xboxfanboy - MS is in ALOT of trouble right now. I don't mean to rag on you, but making a thread like this makes it seem like you just realized what has been happening for the last six months, and are in denial. The Wii is TEN million units ahead of the 360 despite being launched a year later. PS3 has also surpassed 360 in Europe and Japan eventhough it also came a year after. The 360 has gone through a series of price cuts but the PS3 still consistantly outsells it worldwide. We have not even seen the effects of these pricedrops fade away yet and the PS3 is still doing better than the 360. I remember when Toshiba kept dropping the price on HD DVD players. |
Perpride speaks the truth. I'll add that the PS3 is twice the price of the 360 and still outsells it.
Thanks for the input, Jeff.
