Games media hasn't spent half the time with WKC as they have Fable 2.

Fable 2 seems like it will be better then the first,which is saying alot ince the first fable was great.

If Bethesda made RPG games, then you might be able to include Fallout 3 in this conversation.

With the positive reviews coming out for Fable 2, this game does have a legitimate chance at nabbing RPG of the year, but we really need to wait and see how some other games turn out first.

1st mistake: you're comparing WRPGs with JRPGs

2nd mistake: you're obviously biased towards JRPGs

thats because one of tham is an esetablished IP with a creator who doesn't know when to shut up about his game (that reason led to disappointment in Fable 1)

The other game is first of all a JRPG....so Western sites won't be that interested, but its being made by Level 5 who is (err are) awesome.

The only opinion that matters to me, is my own.

I admit that the fact that Obsidian (being the reformed Black Isle Studios) isn't heading the project is disconcerting, but the Fallout pedigree is one of the best in the genre. Fable doesn't have that claim.
