Well whatever it is they have, it better be good otherwise they will look pale in comparison to their rival who is getting stronger as time passes. So far, MS expects to sell consoles based on 2 Exclusives coming out soon; Fable2 and GeoW2.

As great as these games are, they cannot compete against a line up like; R2, K2, LBP, HOME, GOW3, Team ICO Project, a possible KH3, FFVXIII, DCUO and possibly Heavy Rain.

In the end of the last gen, it was quantity of decent games that made the Sony brand the winner not 2 or 3 AAA exclusives.

The question the interviewer should have really asked is what the hell are you waiting for then. Until an announcement is made about a game said game does not exist. That means that the 360 is quickly running out of exclusive games, and that is adversely hurting console sales. Most consumers are intelligent enough to discount the existence of unseen things.

Microsoft needs to borrow a page from the Sony playbook and announce some games even if they are over a year away, because quite frankly the longer they go without saying anything the worse it is going to be for them.

Yeah and 360 of course has just 2 games *rolleyes*

I'll make the same list you have done with the PS3 for the 360:

GeoW2, Fable2, Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts, the new Xbox experience, Bungie Project 1, Bungie Project 2, Bungie Project 3, Halo Chronicles, Halo Wars, Splinter Cell Conviction a possible Halo 4 and Star Ocean 4 exclusive

 Why would you post exclusives of the PS3 (Home isnt a game) for the next year when you only list 2 exclusives for the 360 coming out in 2 months? That doesn't make your argument very credible.

I would say this is a more fair comparison, when you think about the exclusives that are a closest to release. This is of course not counting downloadeable games, but I think that since not a single downloadeable game is enough reason alone to buy a console, they shouldn't be on the list either.

But going post-holiday, Sony are standing very strong in their games line-up. I will be buying KZ2, inFamous, GoW3, MAG, all games slated for a release in the coming spring.

and i can nearly 100% guarentee that splinter cell conviction and star ocean 4 will be multiplat (no proof just gut feeling)

Even though Bungie has 3 projects in the work I would never put any of those projects in my Xbox 360 upcoming games lists before they are officially announced.

I think it's quite possible for Star Ocean 4 to be on a PS3 some months later, but Splinter Cell will be 360/PC only. I'm sure about that.

The 360 has many notable, confirmed exclusives coming down the pipeline. There is Halo Wars, Forza 3, Star Ovean IV and the more mysterious games such as Alan Wake, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Ninja Blade and Halo Chronicles. More will be confirmed and announced in due time.
