I can understand many people's points when they say it's just a button masher and that's true to an extent but then that's usually what Action RPGs are (or at least the one's I've played....which isn't many).
As for use of magic, I used it a fair amount, less so in KH1 by the end as I'd level up to 100 playing the Colleseum over and over, but the wind shield was a great magic. In KH2, I use lightning and gravity a lot and even reflect. Each having their advantages, lightning stops enemies and makes them jump in the air (KH1 and 2) most enemies need to be grounded to attack, also doing 3 lightnings the third is .5 strong then the others buy the looks of it in KH2. Reflect does exactly that and in a tight situation, you can do a lot of damage to enemies, i mainly use this again the FF characters in the Coleseum in KH2. Gravity is great because it puts all the enemies in one place so your keyblade swings just hit them all. But maybe I am the except to the rule. Of coruse i use the short cuts. I use summons and limits at times 2, only mainly Genie as his is quite powerful and takes off energy quickly.
But then I'll start repeating myself the next time a threa bout this comes up...in about a week.
How can you dis a game series that has Billy Zane and Christohper Lee in them as voice actors? But then I don't think it's amazing, jsut very very good.
Hmm, pie.
