I dont think the 360 will even hit 35,000,000 :-|. I mean it took 3 years to hit 20,000,000. Once it reaches saturation in the US, where does it find room to hit 50,000,000 consoles WW?

My prediction: the PS3 will hit 50,000,000 and the 360 never will. When the PS3 hits $299 it will be the best selling console from that point on. After Killzone 2 the 360 won't ever outsell either the PS3 or the Wii ever again.

I'm unsure X360 will reach that figure ever.... while the PS3 might manage it around mid 2011... at the earliest it would be late 2010. (shortly after Wii reaches 100 million)

As for 30million... I am positive the X360 will reach that figure first... as there will be less than 4 million to go after Christmas... wheras PS3 will have double that figure, and although PS3 is increasing compared to the 360, it isn't going to jump to doubling it's sales anytime soon.

 I like this prediction. I disagree that Killzone will be what sparks SONY DOMINATION because Killzone 2 could still turn out to be utter shit

seriosuly dont they kinda cannabalize eachother, for the average consumer, their both epensive, both have a similar game cataloguq, frankly I see both doing around 45-40 million and that will be it.

 

expensive as for now, they both will be able to lower their production cost by alot.

The PS3 will reach 50m before the 360, since the 360 will NEVER hit 50m. But, the PS3 won't hit 50m for another 5 1/2 years.

Well, i'm not sure if either of them will even make it to 50 mil. But the ps3 has a better chance.

K well the demand foe the wii is declining and ps3 demand is increasing. The wii used to sell out within 2 days now its 4 the ps3 sells out in a week before it was 2 weeks.. The 360 will probabbly not pass the 35 mil. mark and the wii probably wont pass the 80 mil. mark.

xbox 360 is in its 3rd year and has sold 20.5 million total. by the end of 08 its total should be around 23 million. In 2009 it will sell 10 million, and in 2010 it will sell 8 million. so i think 360 will sell around 41 million total before the next xbox comes out or when it stops selling.
and to all the wii fanboys: stop saying ps3 might not reach 50 million. even at this rate, ps3 will crack 50 million after being on the market for 5 years total. and its weekly sales in 2009 will be much more of what it is right now. i still think it has a chance of making 150 million if they bring out great games, make the price 250 in 2010, and keep supporting it all together until 2014.
