Well, I just happened to refresh the page after checking my E-mail, and BAM!! here was the news.

So of course I jumped on it, it was huge news!

Sorry, I'll try not to check my E-mail the next time some sort of announcement is made available to the public.

Excellent. I'm really getting excited for this upcoming holiday season. Should prove to be really (hopefully) competitive.

And heck, it's good news for future 360 owners as well.

Yeah like MS fanboys don't raid Sony post? I doubt that, if this does have a huge impact, that Sony won't respond. I actually think that this is about even going in to the holiday season.

Its cheaper 360s vs PS3's first holiday with Blu-Ray being dominant.

If this doesn't work, however, what else can Microsoft really do? I mean if the Arcade doesn't sell at $70 more than the PS2 I am convinced it never will.

It's not beating the 360 on a consistent month to month basis, and not selling nearly as well as it should be.
