Good for you, Burgles. I will have a lot more respect for your PS3-dissing now, that I know you at least have some perspective. ;)

Also, don't get Heavenly Sword that game is pretty as far as graphics are concerned, but gameplay-wise that game sucks. It's totally repetitive, there is absolutely nothing new to it other than press the X button the whole game.

I remember twesterm uploaded a video demonstrating him playing Heavenly Sword with one hand and eating with another...lol

what are you talking about.. it's an awesome game.. especially gameplay wise.. the sixaxis controls in it are awesome !.. i still once a while grab the controller to replay the parts where you shoot shit up :p

Check out my game about moles ^

@ staude, I agree, it was a really fun game

Well just thought I'd let the people who hate my 360 rantings know, I'm getting a PS3. As soon as the 80GB models are released, I'm renewing my mobile contract and will have one in around 6 weeks at a guess.

I'm mainly after the Bluray playback in all honesty.

But I will be renting

MGS4

Ratchet & Clank TOD

Unchartered

GT5 Prologue

These games will be "missing in the post". I will then own them.

I can't think of anymore game really I can be sure I'd like, is Heavenly sword and Folklore quite similar? Are they old fashioned action RPGs...Quite interested in any JRPG stuff (turn based, or SO3 style).

Thanx :)

Heavenly Sword and Folklore are not at all similar, outside of fighting enemies in both.  HS is NOT an action RPG, Folklore is, but there isn't much emphasis on "RPG".  They are both good games though.

Resistance and Warhawk are both worth it, especially now that they are cheaper.  Since you mentioned 360 rantings, I assume you don't want any multi-plat recommendations.  As for PSN games.  Pixel Junk Monsters/Eden, Super Stardust HD, Echochrome, Everyday Shooter, and flOw.

You must buy Resistance...

Didn't expect you to get one, but have a good time with it :D

Hi there, sorry not renewing it (I wish, that would be a hell of a deal).

I'm paying £45 a month already for 800mins\800texts with O2, chaing to T-Mobile - 18 months, £35 a month...

It works out pretty good if you consider a PS3 is £300 and I do need a BR player, and there are a few games I'm interested in on the PS3 (MGS4 especially).

Thanks for all the replies, very helpful

Well yes, my only genuine dig at the PS3 is the lack of games that aren't already on the 360.

If games like GOW3 and some more MGS4 type classic PS2 heavy hitters were on it exclusively then it would be a no brainer. I very rarely buy 360 games normally just play copies except for some special editions (I'm being honest here, please don't jump and pounce on top of me).

Copies just aren't as much fun as the real thing as I've lost "respect" for games in general, end up not really playing anything!
