Analysts got owned
end of core gaming days prediction:
E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced
E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.
E3 2010- Tape runs out

Just one of many, many, many predictions about the Wii from professional analysts that were wrong.

Come again?
I don't trust you to trust me to trust that I don't trust people with Kim Possible avatars.
it's price got cut to £20.00 on Amazon.co.uk and it's been getting a little boost as it's been up around 10th in best sellers list all week where normally it lies around 60th.
It's also rumoured that the Boom Blox team have started working on a new project (see link below) so guess this is flop confirmed.

Whats also interesting is the sales pattern is remarkably similar to mysims which has sold 1M, it was around now when mysims sales moved into another gear and Boom Blox has just had it's price slashed.
When comparing this pattern to an old EA game like Boogie it seems EA may have just began to figure out the Wii and how to make money on it.

What do you hate more?
1) Buying an EA game (saying that it sucks is redundant)
2) The fact that everyone uses it to say Wii can`t sell 3rd party software: "Boom Blox was a true test of the potential for third-party success on Nintendo Wii. It appears that success on the Wii will remain difficult to achieve,” said analyst Evan Wilson
Satan said:
"You are for ever angry, all you care about is intelligence, but I repeat again that I would give away all this superstellar life, all the ranks and honours, simply to be transformed into the soul of a merchant's wife weighing eighteen stone and set candles at God's shrine."
The sales of this don't seem to be dropping off nearly as quickly as the typical hardcore game--many of which nosedive within just a couple weeks as far as sales are concerned.
MySims and Carnival Games *shudder* both crept up to million sellers in much the same way Boom Blox is selling. This will probably be a decent seller when the holidays hit, especially if EA is smart and keeps plugging it in TV ads.
Bizarre dismal sales in Japan. Do they really hate everything from the States that much?
