Also agreed, but I think 95% of all FPS are repetitive. (even though I'm a very big FPS fan :P)

 

 

I need variety in my games, take Call of Duty 4 for example, you get to play not only as a SAS soldier, but also a United States Marine, where you play out in different parts of the world with different enemies, and both Armies hae their own weapons etc.

Also, i think there should be Customisation, such as, Weapons, Armour etc.

I don't hate Halo, but if I want to play a FPS, it's no where near the top of my list.

It's an Ok shooter. I guess some people hate it because it's hyped like it's the best ever, and it's simply average.

 Never played Perdect Dark always wanted too but doubt that its better. Half-Life sucks too. IMO

 

Realize what you are doing: you are stating an opinion about the quality of a game you haven't played. How can you do that with a straight face?. While we are on the topic, have you played HL2?

If youre talking about Perfect Dark then I can make that opinion because I can. Have you ever played an Ubisoft Petz game. No. But you would say it sucks even though youve never played it.
Golden Eye is the only FPS i do like. Im not saying Perfect Dark is bad but Im just saying that Im pretty sure Id like GoldenEye beter. Its my OWN OPINION. Why wont you buy X game. Because what youve seen you dont like. Have you played every single game? No. You give an opinion to a game you havent played all the time.

Ive played a few other FPS HL being one of them and I didnt like it. I didnt like Halo. I wont play a sequel to game I dont like especially if looks no different from the  the first. Thats my opinon about HL2

I tend not to like FPS because they are generally boring and generic, not to mention a fair few of them make me motion-sick. But specifically Halo, while I do not "hate" it (it's an average FPS), is far overrated due to no innovation in gameplay, recycled levels, poor multiplayer levels, generic storyline, and just generally being boring as hell. But remember, I am not a big fan of most FPS. I've played a ton of Doom/Doom II and Goldeneye, but that's about it in terms of actually liking a FPS.

I don't dislike it, I just don't see anything in it to distinguish it from any other shooter. I'm getting kind of bored with FPS, and it takes something really impressive to appeal to me nowadays.
