Time to Work !

Of course. I prefer japanese voices.

If the menus were subtitled, yes.

No, no, and definately no. I'm not going to touch Yakuza 2 because of that reason.

Call me an uneducated or unsophisticated American but i am not sitting through 40+ hours of a game reading long text dialogue.

In the old days, their was no voiceovers in games, so everything was text based anyway. But then they knew not to over do the dialogue and K.I.S.S. Now it would be a never ending scrolling of text making the game even longer than they need to be. As a older gamer, my attention span has long gone from all that.

I'm just saying...

No, but it has nothing to do with voice acting (though the American voice-acting industry does not, shall we say, inspire much confidence). I wouldn't get a Japanese version of any Square-Enix game because of that company's long and shameful history of rushing an incomplete product out to market in Japan, then releasing the finished product a year or so later to bilk gamers into paying twice. I refuse to buy an unfinished game.

Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.

YES!!! I'm wishing that the english release would have subs and japanese voice overs in the audio options or something. I prefer "subbed" over "dubbed"

No, I hate subtitles. I don't want to read my games or movies, I want to watch them.
