No, but it has nothing to do with voice acting (though the American voice-acting industry does not, shall we say, inspire much confidence). I wouldn't get a Japanese version of any Square-Enix game because of that company's long and shameful history of rushing an incomplete product out to market in Japan, then releasing the finished product a year or so later to bilk gamers into paying twice. I refuse to buy an unfinished game.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
